Over the course of close to two decades, Wallace Sight & Sound Productions worked to create, promote, and offer a county-wide and area CALENDAR WEBSITE where Bosque County citizens could better know and plan events. After significant financial and time investments, we found that not enough key organizations would cooperate beyond their own needs and interests. Unfortunately, we shut down this effort and this dedicated website after three (3) major and many minor re-boots.

In the end, it appears that Bosque County citizens will continue to struggle with too many events scheduled on top of one another. With that, organizers of events will find that periodically their attendances will be much lower than they would hope due to competing events.

For the record, we’ve tried unsuccessfully to help improve that on-going scenario. It is possible that one might actually here a version of “we told you so” in our shared frustrations. However, we have not given up.

Knowing full well that much of life and many key people are NOT on Facebook, we did find that there continues to be more and more people “liking” the BosqueAreaEvents Facebook page. We will continue to promote this basic level of information and calendar sharing through this tool. Frankly, it is the best return on investment as it does not cost anything other than attention.
